"Uwaaah, it's so shiny!" comes a high, childlike voice from the entrance to the grand hall. Standing in the doorway is an odd couple, though with the assortment of guests at this grand event, they may not seem so strange after all. Still, the difference in their heights is likely what makes them seem just.. slightly more noticable than some.
Standing at perhaps three-and-a-half feet is a small girl in a very poofy, very elegant pink brocade ballgown. Ruffles seem to have been placed wherever one could fit them, even on the pink umbrella she holds clasped in her left hand. Her hair seems perhaps a bit unnatural, being a powdery pink color and done up in large, rounded puffs and curls. Those that have some understanding of the physical capabilities of human hair may see that she is, in fact, wearing an extremely poofy wig.
Even behind the simple masquerade mask she wears, it's easy to see that the girl's large eyes are sparkling with wonderment and delight. It seems so unlikely that just moments before Yachiru Kusajishi attempted to break her 'date's' kneecap with her poofy pink umbrella for not telling her that they were supposed to bring their own masks.
Hey, it's not like he knew! Then again, those flyers did say it was a MASQUERADE.
Pity the fool who is Ikkaku Madarame. "Shiny. Yeah." Oh, he sounds /thrilled/ to be here. He don't do parties! He's a fighter, not a dancer! None of this was regarded to Yachiru, who forced him into escorting her by title, multiple bites and beatings.
The third seat grumbles, swaggering in with all his pastely, shiny glory, wearing the justacorps, waistcoat, breeches, hose, puff-sleeved shirt, polished shoes with ribbons and a laced cravat of a upper class Baroque/Rococo man. There's also, in a way matching but not quite, a BIG HONKING WHITE POWDERED WIG on top of his head. With a lollipop attached to it from earlier. "Right, let's get this over with," he mutters, tapping his katana across his shoulder. Wait a minute - how did he get that pass security? He told them it was a fake.
As for a mask, he snatches the lollipop from his wig, holding it up to cover an eye. But he's already wearing the one they handed to them...

It's late but whatever. Oop. This was a part of the giant mess called Gilgamesh's Halloween Masquerade made of EPIC on Gatemush. Ikkaku was Yachiru's escort/babysitter. Ah, the madness. <3
The names Yachiru provided were Baron Fluffernut von Baldopantsenstein and Lady Marionetta Kittenpufften Freilich Weatherspork del Honeytucker Cottonbell. Also known as Lord Baldy and Lady Nametoolongtolisthere by Gilgy.
came up with the idea and did the coloring. I just took it a step further with the sketch concept.

Ikkaku is in costume. Ikkaku is from Bleach-land, which makes him Japanese. He has this thing about carrying his sword around, so he makes a big deal about not going anywhere without it. He could've had a prop, but it wouldn't feel right to him.
